I've had the privilege of working across startup, consulting and corporate teams - always as the first or second designer. I've learned how to make design work for scrappy teams and how to raise the design fluency of everyone around me. I'm currently the senior manager of UX for the sales technology team at Gartner.
What I Do
I've spent my career on enterprise B2B experiences and, for the last 7 years, with a large emphasis on Salesforce and CRM. These solutions are data-heavy and full of complex business logic, and that's precisely what makes them my favorite design challenges: how do you make that complexity invisible to end users?

I had the privilege of being the first designer and sixth overall employee at the unicorn tech startup, Salsify.
I got to be the first to wade into many of our formative experiences - from a guided free trial to our first dashboard to our initial foray into data science - and learned how to lovingly grow an enterprise SaaS product from scratch.

Where I've Worked
I've shared a single communal desk with a founding team that would build a unicorn startup, and traveled around the country to facilitate design workshops for six-figure software implementations. I'm currently the sole designer for the team delivering all internal sales technology to thousands of Gartner sellers.
About Me
At various points in my life, I've been lucky to call Hawaii, Boston, London, and Brooklyn "home." I try to bring the influence of all of those places into every interaction: the ease and friendliness of island life, the curiosity and self-sufficiency I've nurtured in big cities, and a love of tea underlying it all.
In my free time, I love to read, crochet and travel with my husband, Sam.
